Plein Air Golden Hour Painting & Art Reveal
Join us for a special evening of plein air painting, conversation, and community during the 15th Annual Pike Road Plein Air Paint Out, celebrating this year’s theme, “The American Landscape.”
From 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., visiting plein air artists will gather in The Waters neighborhood to paint during golden hour, capturing the warm evening light and the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape. Community members are invited to stop by, watch the artists work, and see firsthand how a painting develops from the landscape in front of them to the canvas.
Golden Hour Painting Reveal & Dessert Reception
7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
The Waters Sales Office
After the painting session, the evening continues at The Waters Sales Office with a special Golden Hour Painting Reveal and Dessert Reception. Guests can enjoy desserts, visit with the participating artists, and see the freshly completed paintings created during the evening’s painting session.
This reception offers a unique opportunity to experience the entire creative process from watching artists respond to the changing light and landscape to seeing their finished works revealed just hours later.
No art experience is necessary to attend. Whether you are an art enthusiast, a beginning artist, a longtime supporter of the Plein Air Paint Out, or simply looking for a way to enjoy an evening in Pike Road, everyone is welcome.
