Plein Air: Blended Brushes

Our 14th Annual Plein Air Paint Out will again feature our Blended Brushes event, showcasing live painting from nationally-recognized Plein Air artists.

On Oct. 9 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Pike Road Arts Center, 944 Wallahatchie Road, our Artists will be collaborating to paint four beautiful scenes together on four canvases. Watch them work together to complete four paintings in just 90 minutes! At the start of time, each artist will work on painting a landscape on their own canvas. They’ll then switch canvases back and forth, finishing each others’ paintings!

Our artists for this year are: Barbara Davis, Perry Austin, Craig Reynolds, and John Guernsey. They are each nationally-known Plein Air artists who have won numerous awards and have been featured in various magazines. This is a free event, but donations are welcomed and appreciated.
