Pike Road Business Association Lunch & Learn: Pike Road IGNITE Feat. Blue Ribbon Customer Service Program

Join the Pike Road Business Association on Tuesday, July 28 from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Pike Road Town Hall (9575 Vaughn Road) for the next event in the 2026 Pike Road Business Association Lunch and Learn Series, each highlighting new business initiatives launching this year through Pike Road IGNITE. Pike Road IGNITE, a 2026 business initiative of the Town of Pike Road Economic Development Department, is designed to advance the growth and sustained success of Pike Road businesses by cultivating collaborative opportunities and a resource-rich environment. Through strategic engagement with local businesses, schools, and community partners, IGNITE supports a resilient and thriving local economy by creating opportunities where businesses can strengthen operations, expand their reach, and contribute to a thriving local economy.

This Lunch & Learn will spotlight the Blue Ribbon Customer Service Program and feature a presentation from Neal Kelley, Director of AUM Continuing Education and Community Engagement, who will provide an overview of the program and share how this partnership between the Town of Pike Road and AUM is creating new opportunities for local businesses to invest in customer service excellence.

The Blue Ribbon Customer Service Program is a professional development initiative designed to equip business professionals with practical customer service skills that can be immediately applied in the workplace. Developed through a partnership between the Town of Pike Road and Auburn University at Montgomery, the program will focus on strengthening customer interactions, enhancing the customer experience, and promoting service standards that contribute to business success. The inaugural class will welcome 20–30 participants and begin this fall through a series of sessions designed with business schedules in mind.
