EMPTY BOWLS PROGRAM “Make a Bowl” with Madalyn Richardson

Join the Pike Road Arts Council and artist Madalyn Richardson at the Pike Road Arts Center for a hands on pottery experience that combines creativity with a meaningful cause.

Participants will learn hand-building techniques to create their own handmade ceramic bowl, then add unique designs and textures to make their piece one of a kind.

No pottery experience is required, and all supplies are provided.

• September 13, 2026 | 1–4 p.m.
• October 18, 2026 | 1–4 p.m.
• November 8, 2026 | 1–4 p.m.
• December 13, 2026 | 1–4 p.m.

Cost: Free
Ages: Ages 5–12 must have an adult present for assistance.

This special pottery experience is part of the Empty Bowls Project, an effort that uses art and community involvement to help raise awareness and support for those experiencing hunger.

Participants will create a ceramic bowl that will be donated to the Empty Bowls Project, benefiting local charities working to fight hunger in our community. More information about the 3rd Annual Empty Bowls will be provided March 2027.
