PIKE ROAD, AL – The Town of Pike Road and Pike Road Schools celebrated Homecoming on Friday with a community parade and pep rally that filled the Town with Patriot pride.

The parade stepped off from the Publix shopping center at 1 p.m., traveling north along Pike Road before turning onto Antioch Lane and Georgia Washington Road. It ended at the parking lot next to the football stadium at the Georgia Washington Campus of Pike Road High School.

Pike Road School students, athletes, bands, extracurricular clubs, local businesses and organizations marched alongside with the Town’s Mayor and Town Council joining the procession as residents lined the route to cheer them on.

A community pep rally followed at 2 p.m. in Patriot Stadium, where families and neighbors gathered to celebrate the students, staff and volunteers who make Homecoming a town-wide tradition.

“One of the most unique things about Pike Road is our community engagement, and the Homecoming Parade just personifies that. Every year it gets bigger. Every year we have more businesses involved, more organizations involved,” Mayor Gordon Stone said. “What a blessing to be in a community where people come together and support each other the way Pike Road does. This parade signifies that. It signifies both past, present and future — how we reach back and remember, how we celebrate what we have today, and we think about where we’re going.”

The Homecoming 2026 celebration continues Friday night, when the Patriots host Russell County at Patriot Stadium at 7 p.m.
