Business License Department - Town of Pike Road

Business License Information

Entities operating or doing any business within the corporate limits of the Town of Pike Road or its *Police Jurisdiction are required to maintain a current Town of Pike Road business license. Business licenses are renewed annually, and once you hold a license, a notice will be sent to your business each year to remind you to renew. Process to Apply For or Renew a Business License

Step 1: Select and complete the appropriate form from below and submit it to Business License Clerk, Sherri Eason, by mail or by emailing it to [email protected].

**NOTE: Please review the additional requirements below before submitting your Application or Renewal.

Step 2: After submitting your Business License Application or Renewal, you will receive an email of your Application/Renewal Fee with a link to pay. If you would prefer, you can also submit your fee by mail.

Step 3: Business License Renewals and Applications will be reviewed and upon acceptance will be mailed or emailed to recipients following the receipt of payment and applicable documents.

Additional Industry-Specific Requirements

Contractors

General contractors, plumbing/gas, HVAC or electricians should provide the following along with the Business License Application or Renewal:

Copy of General Liability Insurance
State Certification Card or General Contractor’s License or Homebuilder’s License

Other Contractors

All other contractors (not listed above) should provide a Copy of General Liability Insurance along with the Business License Application or Renewal.

Restaurants and Food Trucks

Restaurants and Food Trucks should provide a copy of their Health Permit along with the Business License Application or Renewal.

Pest Control

Pest Control specialists should provide a copy of their Alabama Dept. of Agricultural Professional Service Permit along with the Business License Application or Renewal.

Hair and Nail Salons

Hair and Nail Salons should provide a copy of their State Board License along with the Business License Application or Renewal.

All Other Businesses

All other businesses, not listed above, must submit only their Business License Application.

If you are renewing a Town of Pike Road Business License, you should have received a Renewal Form from the Town of Pike Road. Please submit the Renewal Form you received from the Town of Pike Road and your Application. If you did not receive a Renewal Form, please contact Sherri Eason by emailing [email protected].
