Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, Elana is currently an Assistant Professor of Art at Alabama State University. She has studied at Brandeis University, The Jerusalem Studio School in Umbria, Italy, and received her MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia, PA. Elana has earned numerous awards for her art which is exhibited throughout the United States and internationally. Elana most enjoys drawing and painting people from life, but also enjoys creating landscapes using many different mediums.
