About the Event

Join the Pike Road Agriculture and Stewardship Club on March 27 at the Plant Smart: Invasive and Native Species Workshop, led by Lynn Dickinson, Regional Alabama Cooperative Extension Agent! This workshop will take place at the Pike Road Agriculture, Recreation, & Performing Arts Park (6281 Trotman Road) from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. 


Together, we will gain insight on native and invasive species that grow in our own backyards or those that we may be interested in planting! Lynn will help you determine species that are best to grow in our area, the difference between native and invasive species, the benefits of native species, and supplementary information to help you successfully landscape and manage trees, shrubs, and plants in your yard or property!
