About the Event

Join us on Tuesday, August 27, at Founders Station (4902 Pike Rd), for the Intro to Beekeeping Workshop with The Alabama Cooperative Extension System and Town of Pike Road's Agriculture & Stewardship ENHANCE Committee.

At this beginner's guide to beekeeping, we will learn all things pollinators, from who they are to how to attract them. More specifically, we'll learn about Honey Bees and how to take care of them. This workshop is a great crash course for beginners who are interested in taking up beekeeping, or for those who would just like to learn more!

Registration for this workshop is required and costs $5. Click here to claim your spot!

If you are unable to register online or have additional questions, please email Jennifer Grace Kendrick at jarnold@pikeroad.us or call (334) 272-9883.

The Introduction to Beekeeping Workshop is the August installation of the 2024 Agriculture & Stewardship Seminar Series. This event is presented in partnership by the Alabama Cooperative Extension System and the Town of Pike Road's Ag & Stewardship Club, an ENHANCE initiative committee.
