Learn to create abstract landscape art with artist-in-residence, Sima Islam, and the Pike Road Arts Council for THREE classes on March 8, March 22, and April 5 hosted at the Pike Road Arts Center (944 Wallahatchie Rd)!
Sima will demonstrate the artistic principles and high level of creativity required of abstract artists who push the boundaries of what art can be. art that doesn't aim to represent reality. Her class will focus on basic elements like shape, color, and composition. You will create art that represents the world as you see it by exploring the unseen!
You will explore the main characteristics of abstract art including:
Strong valuation of colors, shapes, lines, and textures.
